Does your car meet all the conditions for being listed on Perpetoo? Have you already sent us a request and you are anxious to start at once? Do everything by the book and do not forget some simple, but important rules for your relationship with the future drivers of your car:

  1. The first and most important rule is punctuality. With the details facilitated by the application, you can determine together the date, time and place of your meeting. We recommend you to take a margin of at least 15 minutes so you can get there in due time. As we all know, the first impression is sometimes the most important one!
  2. Go there with a clean car. The first impression is also given by how your car looks like, so it is important that both the exterior of the car and the seat upholstery are clean and neat. Also, make sure that the trunk of your car is empty, considering that most people who will hire it will drive out of town and will have luggage with them. We also ask you to be careful and not smoke inside the car at least 24 hours before, so that the passengers aren’t bothered by a strong smell.
  3. Print the documentation related to the rental. Perpetoo offers you a self-generated agreement, with your details, however it is important that the agreement exists also physically (on paper) and that it is signed by both the owner of the car and the driver who will hire it. So, you should take the initiative and go with the agreement and Annex 1 printed, so that the car can be picked-up quickly and you can save time and money.
  4. Be involved. It is normal that the driver inspects the car before taking it over, but you may help him or her by telling in advance if the car has any scratch, any spot on the seat upholstery or other minor defect, so that the pick-up goes quickly and everybody can proceed undisturbed. This is also a time when you should tell the driver about the particularities of the car, if any, tell them where they can find the spare tyre and the first aid kit.
  5. Be kind both on the phone and during your meeting. Even if misunderstandings may arise (e.g. the driver can’t find the pick-up address or other similar situations), your goal should be to reconcile any possible conflicts and keep a pleasant atmosphere during the rental process. Of course, the famous “Please”, “Thank you”, “I see” and “You’re welcome” can do wonders, so we recommend you to use them confidently And, if the driver who hires the car is of other nationality and there is no foreign language that you both can speak, you’ve got two choices: either you call a friend to help you translate the conversation or use Google Translate, but you should search in advance for some sentences you would like to say.

We thank you in anticipation for abiding by the rules above, because, in the end, we can create together a good image for those who hire! We hope you’ll have many rentals!
