I don’t want to rent the car anymore, how can I cancel my rental?

Did you make an hourly reservation? You can cancel your reservation free of charge with 100% refund of the amount paid if the reservation period does not begin in less than 24 hours.


If the reservation is canceled up to 24 hours after the reservation, but less than 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved period, the Driver is refunded 50% of the amount paid upon reservation. The amount paid for insurance and forfeiture will be refunded in full.

If the reservation is canceled more than 24 hours after the reservation and less than 24 hours before the start of the reserved period, no percentage of the amount paid by the driver for the rental period will be refunded. The amount paid for insurance and forfeiture will be refunded in full.


Did you make a daily reservation? You can cancel the reservation free of charge after the reservation made in the Application, with the only condition that the booking period does not begin in less than 7 days. The amount paid will be refunded in full.


If the reservation is canceled less than 7 days until the start of the reserved period, the Driver is reimbursed 50% of the amount paid for the rental period he canceled. The amount paid for insurance and forfeiture will be refunded in full.


If the reservation is canceled less than 24 hours before the start of the reserved period, no percentage of the amount paid by the Driver for the rental period he canceled shall be refunded. The amount paid for insurance and forfeiture will be refunded in full.

How and when do I pay for renting the car?

Payment is made by automatic debit from the driver’s credit card only after the car owner accepts the rental request. The transaction will be performed by the online payments authorized provider Netopia Financial Services SRL (netopia-payments.com).

If I want to bring the car earlier, will I get a refund of the amount I paid?

Did you make an hourly reservation? We are sorry, you will not be refunded. Most probably the car owner lost other appointments.


Did you make a daily reservation? The driver who wishes to reduce the rental period for a reservation that has already started must do so only through the Application. You will get your money back only for the insurance according to the canceled days.

I have not received any Accept from the car owners. What do I do?

In this case, you must select other cars and send other rental requests. To increase your chance to receive a positive response, we recommend selecting a number of 3-4 cars with high acceptance rates.

I discovered that the car that I rented has faults. What shall I do?

If the driver finds technical faults that impede optimal operation of the vehicle and make driver unable to accept taking over that specific car, the driver should make a request, within 24 hours of the occurrence of the irregularities, to receive reimbursement of the sums paid. The driver shall send the request to Perpetoo, along with the relevant evidence. In the event of any irregularities noticed, Perpetoo will reimburse the driver within 7 days from the day the request was received. In this undesirable situation, first of all, we advise the driver to contact Perpetoo as soon as possible in order to be able finding an alternative transportation option from the Perpetoo app.

Is there a guarantee?

“Excess or Warranty” is the amount of money which the Driver undertakes to pay as part of the Price for Use, representing the compensation borne by the insured (the Lessor) in case of damage resulting from the use of the Motor Vehicle. ATTENTION! For Vehicles that will NOT benefit from insurance from Perpetoo's Insurance partner, this will only be called a warranty and may have a different amount from Lessor to Lessor.

The excess is charged on each rental and is part of CASCO insurance.

The insurance from Perpetoo's Insurance partner provides for two types of franchise, of 100 euros or 300 euros (depending on the preference and it is at the user's / driver's choice). Franchise is the part of the damage suffered by the insured / driver. To understand even better how to apply the franchise, consider the following example: The driver chooses, at the time of renting for a franchise of 300 euros; if an insured event occurs and the compensation is worth 1,000 euros, then the Insurer will pay to the car service only 700 euros. In this case, the insured / the Owner / Lessor will pay the deductible following the latter to recover this value from the guarantee of the user / driver who is already in Perpetoo possession; if the compensation is less than 300 euros, then the Insurer will not pay any compensation, the value of the repair being assured by the guarantee stopped to the Driver. More specifically, if the damage is 200 euros, then this amount will be terminated by the guarantee, the remaining 100 euros being returned to the customer / driver.

When will the driver's freight / warranty return?

After the trip is completed, the Owner uploads the document (Annex 1 of the Rental Agreement) completed and signed by the Owner and the Driver. Within a few days the money will be returned to the client / driver's account. It usually doesn't take us more than two days.

What cars are accepted at Perpetoo?

Only vehicles that comply with the laws and regulations in force in Romania can be offered for rent. Right side steering wheel cars are not allowed.


Vehicles must have a mileage lower than 300,000 km, maximum 10 years of age, valid technical inspection, mandatory civil liability and vignette. The cars must be properly equipped according to the regulations in force and without any failure that could affect the comfort (e.g. defective air conditioning, blocked window, etc.).

The vehicle does not belong to me. Can I rent it through Perpetoo?

Yes, but this situation will require a written/contractual authorization from the person (physical or legal) who owns the vehicle, allowing its use through the Application, and specifying the period of this permission and the registration certificate. The driver will receive a copy of this authorization/contract, in addition to the Vehicle Registration Certificate, when he/she will take over the car reserved through the Application.

Can I list a tinted glass vehicle?

If the vehicle has colored or tinted windows installed after purchase, an official document that opacity is according to the law must be present in the car and handed to the driver, otherwise the vehicle will not be covered by insurance during its use through Perpetoo. If the tinted glass is not legal, the driver could be fined. For verification, you can go to a specialized car service to measure the window opacity and get the paper.

How much can I earn by renting my car?

Earnings depend on several factors: the period when the car is active on the Perpetoo application for rent, the price set by the owner (which may vary depending on the car model, age and options), the ratings received from the users. To maximize your earnings, it's important to accept as many incoming requests as possible from drivers.

How can I increase my revenue?

First of all, it is important to respond to your rental requests rapidly in your Perpetoo account. An attractive, more customer-friendly offer means a detailed car description with quality photos and a competitive price. It also means seriousness, correct information about the state and equipment of the vehicle listed for rental on the Perpetoo app. Do not forget to update the car availability data in your Perpetoo account so that rental requests are only received in the intervals your vehicle is available and so you can validate as many requests as possible.


Here's what you need to do to get the best pictures of the car that you list on Perpetoo:

  • Cleanliness: Wash the car both indoors and outdoors before taking photos.
  • Framing: Try to capture ¾ of the front, ¾ of the back, and an inside picture that covers both the front and rear seats.
  • Light: Search for a place with the proper light. If necessary, use the camera flash to remove the shadows. The pictures must be taken with the sun behind you.
  • Colors: If your car has an open color (white, gray), try looking for a dark background, such as trees or shrubs. On the other hand, if the car has a dark color (dark blue, black), try to take pictures on a lighted background.

How fast will I get the rental money?

The money coming from the rental payment will become yours in a short time! Perpetoo will pay to the owner, without undue delay, the rental price of the vehicle, except the percentage that goes to Perpetoo. The payment will be made within 5 days after the end of the rental period, the delivery of the vehicle and the uploading in the Application by the owner of the copy of Annex 1 signed both by owner and driver. Any other contractual penalties and compensations for damages made to the car will be paid to the owner as soon as they are debited to the Perpetoo account.
