Everything you need to know about the CASCO insurance that your car has when it is rented through Perpetoo

Even if you drive your car daily or you don’t, your car is important to you!

We are aware of this and it is the reason why we partenred with some of the most important insurance companies in Romania, UNIQA and Renomia,. UNIQA will provide you with CASCO insurance, valid throughout the rental period through Perpetoo.

This is what you need to know about the CASCO insurance:

• The insurance is mandatory for each rental and ends automatically without additional formalities when the driver fully pays the reservation on the Perpetoo platform. The owner does not have to pay anything to get insurance!
• The insurance will become effective from the time the car is handed over to the driver and is valid from the day and time of receiving the car until the day and time of return, respectively the dates that were mentioned when the car was booked via the Perpetoo platform. Therefore, this insurance policy does not cover damage outside the rental period that is specified when booking through the platform.
• It will be necessary for the driver to take pictures of the car upon receiving it and for the owner to take pictures of the care when returned, in order to make it easier to prove that damages were produced during the rental period.
• The insurance policy includes, in addition to car insurance: general accident insurance for the driver and the persons in the car, but as mentioned above, only for the rentals made via the Perpetoo application and for the reserved period only.
• In the unfortunate case of an accident during the rental period, the user will also have access to a dedicated telephone number to request free road assistance.

Although we have tried to provide you with more information about the CASCO insurance your car will benefit from when renting through Perpetoo, it includes many more provisions, so we recommend that you read it carefully when you receive it by e-mail. The Insurance Certificate and all its conditions will be received by both the Driver and the Owner upon confirmation of the reservation.
